Hikes:

Drive Hike & Gorge Trips / Cycle the Wine and Apple Lands:

We drive to remote, restricted access areas and hike in the untouched, unspoilt regions. 2-6 hours (max 5 people)

Adventure Gorge (Kloofing) Trips (October - March: This is a physical & challenging fun, challenging, and adventure filled day out. Spectacular; swimming, rock jumping, bouldering and climbing. Wine tasting at the last waterfall. (More photos at bottom of this page)

Night Adventure Hikes: A family, group or team build night hike - crossing rivers, bouldering, and view points through forest(+- 2 hours) or on to an optional braai or stay over.

Hike, Bike, Kayak and Brandy: Here we have it all, plus a world class brandy cellar stop. We kayak across the dam, walk in the fynbos and cycle to the cellar. We get to go on a guided tour through the cellar and then have a well appointed tasting. There is always time for a dip in a stream, a snack break and loads of fun and adventure.

Crystal Pools: An exciting walk to rock jumping pools. Different routes, Local guide with knowledge of jump sites.

 Wildlife and Wine Mountain Bike Tour:

This tour offers a unique South African cycling experience. It features 2 wine estates & a brandy distillery (with tours & tastings), and two wildlife research centres - both offering a chance to interact and observe incredible creatures.

A moderate cycle along & across the Eerste river, through vineyards and orchards, at approx. 16km it's easy for all. A fun and relaxed day out with some cheetah and bird of prey spotting.

Never kayaked or gone off-road cycling before, no problem.

We start with a kayak trip across the lake, nature walk to rock pools and a triple waterfall. We stop for lunch and wine tasting at a waterfall. Then kayak back through a water forest. After that we cycle through the forest for a tour and tasting at an exclusive Brandy cellar. Back through forest  to our base for a glass of sparkling wine.

Olive and Wine Mountain Bike Tour:

Here we take a picturesque ride   through the Helderberg basin, beneath the towering Hottentots Holland mountain range. Highlights include three wine estates (with tastings), wine & nougat tasting, tours of the estates and a very pretty nature reserve. The tour ends with a gentle downhill run meandering along the riverbank to the finish point and a well deserved complimentary sparkling wine.

Speed and Wine Tour

This is a tour that gets the wind in you hair, literally.

3 different speed orientated activities with a wine tasting, lunch half-way up, sweeping downhills. We pick you up at the Grand Daddy Hotel (Cape Town) and drop you off again at about 6pm. An all inclusive day out.
