Introduction: This venue is conveniently close to central Gauteng  and set amidst bushveld near to Magalies & Hartebeespoort Dam. This highly reccommended camp run by Peter & his well trained, experienced team of young facilitators have our schools coming back time after time for many years. 

Capacity: Total 140 beds  (Learners 128 + Teachers 12)

Facilities: A beautiful central swimming pool is surrounded by simple but clean & comfortable smaller sized en-suite chalets sleeping 16 in double bunks.   A huge thatched boma for dining & group activity sessions should it be raining. Cutlery & crockery provided for learners but they must bring their own bedding.

Teachers: are accommodated in their own 2 chalets of 4 beds each. Cutlery, crockery & bedding is provided for the teachers.

Catering: We never receive complaints from our clients and schools as the meals  provided are of excellent quality and variety including special diet requirements such as vegetarian, Halaal etc.  

Programme: A programme can be customised to specifically suit your group's requirements.  

Activities: can include hands on environmental education, leadership identification & development, life orientation skills, team building, fun, adventure and more.

Distance - Hekpoort: 1 hour by bus from central Gauteng.
